After speaking with Lynn tonight, she suggested I start my own blog so that I can share my trials and tribulations with everyone at once. Not that anyone who doesn't know me or my family would believe a word of what goes on in my life.
It has been nearly one week since my emergency surgery and I am doing much better. My staples will be removed tomorrow and I am semi-looking forward to that. I fear it may be painful, but it will be nice not having them rub against my clothing, since I'm always afraid they'll get caught on something and be ripped out (ouch).
I spoke with my boss on Tuesday morning, and he assures me that he will help me get enough advanced leave so that I won't be without a paycheck. That takes some of the pressure off. Steve's unemployment has ended, but he is still applying for jobs. And, on the bright-side, I guess this gives me some more time to work on crafts and such to try and earn some money.
